Views
The sidebar’s perspectives are filters over one pool of tasks. Each answers a different question.
What have I captured but not filed? Tasks with no project, in outline order. The badge counts open items — Inbox zero is a real goal.
What’s relevant right now? Three kinds of tasks qualify:
- due today,
- overdue (shown red),
- deferred until today — they just became available.
Today is deliberately not a planning board; it’s the app’s answer to “what needs me”. The orange badge in the sidebar keeps the count honest.
Upcoming
Section titled “Upcoming”What’s coming? Every open task with a future deadline, grouped by day — tomorrow first. Deadlines only; deferred tasks stay hidden until they’re relevant.
Completed
Section titled “Completed”The log. Everything you’ve finished, newest first, grayed out. Completed tasks also stay visible (grayed, in place) inside their project outlines — progress you can see — but leave every other view.
Project views
Section titled “Project views”A project shows its full outline: open tasks, completed tasks grayed in place, deferred tasks dimmed with their dates. This is where you plan.
Context views
Section titled “Context views”A context shows every open action tagged with it, across all projects, with each task’s project shown as a chip. This is where you do.
The Agents section
Section titled “The Agents section”When agent sessions have been at work on your machine, an Agents section appears at the bottom of the sidebar, grouped by local project. It’s a read-only window into their to-do lists — see Agent sessions.
